Community payback bring offenders to the ranch, to do un-paid work to serve the community service hours / orders, they recieved from the court, for their offences. They assist us with work we need help with, to improve the facility. We usually have a group of upto eight mostly men, of all ages. They have completed alot of jobs at the premises and we are very pleased with the results and we are very grateful for their assistance. Here are some of their comments and thoughts about working with us:-
Des (the supervisor).. " I have been supervising a group of offenders, doing a variety of jobs, to help with the cost of improving the farm. All of the offenders have worked hard and have seen it as a worth while cause!"
Chris.. "I have taken part in the work on the farm project, its hard work but worth it as its a worthwhile cause, you can see the potential of the scheme being unlocked. I have enjoyed being part of the development!"
Gary.. "I have enjoyed being on the farm because I get to see the improvements my hard work does."
Jason.. "I have completed 100 hours of hard work, I have watched the change in the place and I hope they get the funding they need, to complete the project."
Dave.. "seeing a vast improvement in the project, I am pleased with the way it is coming on, knowing that it will benefit others and they will get the benefit from my and others hard work!".
The offenders have been so supportive of what we are trying to achieve, they have put in a lot of time and effort...some have donated materials, to aid us in our quest and to ensure they have work each week!
A big thanks to all those that have worked hard with us, that have donated materials and money, we are most grateful for your services and support!
